ABC presenter Leigh Sales lists her Glebe home for $3 million

ABC presenter Leigh Sales has put the Glebe house she shared with former partner Phil Willis up for auction in November.

The listing follows Sales’ recent purchase of a charming 1930s-era house in Stanmore set over two levels and with four bedrooms and a garage for about $2.1 million last month.

The 7:30 host and Willis, an animator and teacher at Newington College, separated last Christmas, less than 18 months after they bought their freestanding Glebe home for $2,675,000.

Set on almost 400 square metres with four bedrooms, two bathrooms and ornate 1910-era finishes throughout, it was an off-market purchase at the time through BresicWhitney.

BresicWhitney’s Andrew Liddell has again been handed the keys to the property to sell it, this time with a $3 million guide.

When the former couple bought their Glebe home they were trading up from a nearby townhouse on Glebe’s Jarocin Avenue, which Liddell sold at auction for $1,705,000. The result, coming in the heat of Sydney’s property boom, was $200,000 above the reserve.

Glebe’s median property values have soared 31 per cent in the two years since Sales and Willis bought their Glebe property.

Stanmore’s median has proved less bullish, up 19 per cent in the same two years to a median of $1,685,000, according to Domain data.

But according to the Domain Group State of the Market report released on Thursday the bull run of Sydney’s property market looks to have come to an end.

In the inner west, one of the best performing markets in recent years, the median fell 3.9 per cent in the three months to September.
